Emily Redux

Lisa had a few ultrasounds today – thats right, a few. She had her normal Monday one this morning after a long delay due to some inpatient emergency. She then had two with her Dr due to inactivity on Emily’s part (she likes to sleep in the mornings). Lisa had to go back to the Dr this afternoon for another non-stress test and everything was cool and kosher. Lisa figures Emily is awake in the afternoon so she rescheduled all of her non-stress tests for the afternoon instead of the morning so that she wouldn’t have to go through today’s ordeal again.

Today was Lisa’s last day of “work” and now she is on short-term disability. The reason I quote work is because today she spent most of the day at the hospital and very little in the field selling. She did have a lunch and transferred her sample inventory to her co-worker so she did a little bit for The Man but other than that she was stuck in the Drs office all day today.

I’m glad the Dr is comfortable again and that this afternoons non-stress test went well. All these non-stress tests were doing was adding stress to our lives. Now, hopefully, things will go smoothly from here on and Emily will be around to meet us in a few weeks (between Dec 10-24). I can’t wait!

  1. Just think! Emily is going to be a Saggitarian just like her grandma :) She’s sure to be an experience for all who know and love her!
