ToDos in Gmail Revisited

Gmail as a todo list manager. In that prior article I suggested you setup a new Gmail account (or something else) that you would email your todos to. However, it turns out you don’t need an additional address. Gmail has a cool feature that lets you have an unlimited number of addresses with your one Gmail address. Simply add a plus sign and some extra text to your address and it will still be delivered to you. For example if your Gmail account is foo@gmail.com and you wanted a todo address you can just send an email to foo+todo@gmail.com and the email will arrive in your inbox at foo@gmail.com.

If you want to get even more fancy with the idea of “todo’s” and you are a fan of “Getting Things Done” there is a pretty comprehensive Gmail extension you can get called gtdgmail that you might want to take a look at.
